INGREDIENTS:
- Onions (medium size) - 3
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Dalda / sunflower oil - 4 to 5 tablespoon
- Chilly powder - 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 0.5 tsp
- shrimps - frozen pack 500g
- Cumin (jeera) - 2 pinch
- Tomato paste - 2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Curry leaves- 2 stems
- Corriander leaves - 2 stems
- Initially put the frozen shrimps in a tumbler filled with water.
- Take a frying pan and to it add the dalda or sunflower oil.
- Put the chopped onions to it and saute it till it is transparent.
- To it add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 min.
- Then take this mixture and grind it in a mixer along with jeera.
- Again put the mixture into the frying pan and add chilly powder which is dissolved in water.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and tomato paste.
- Then put the cleaned shrimps and add some water according to the amount gravy needed.
- Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes in medium flame.
- The shrimps masala is ready now and garnish with corriander and curry leaves .
